This year’s PFF conference is tailored to equip graduate students from across disciplines with the tools they need to succeed as future faculty members. Indiana University offers world-renowned resources to cultivate exceptional faculty who can excel not only with in its walls but in any academic setting.
Higher education benefits individuals, but it also contributes significantly to the progress of world society. It offers opportunities for developing knowledge, civic engagement, cultural enrichment, and community. Situated at the core of our social fabric, higher education confronts various challenges, including recent threats to the legitimacy of science and art in society. Future faculty members must be prepared to address these concerns and utilize institutional resources to continue producing exceptional scholarship while disseminating important knowledge to present and future generations.
The conference recognizes existing challenges and aspires to address them effectively and collectively. Our goal is to facilitate the exchange of information, strategies, and skills—fostering an environment that empowers IU scholars to flourish in academic and professional settings, both now and in the future.
